talkademy is part of the non-profit organization "Open Learning Association", based in Vienna, Austria. The legal language is German, it is registered as a charity with the Austrian government (see ZVR registration number and details below).
talkademy heads towards innovating education - especially in the field of language learning, intercultural communication and collaboration. The results are published based on open source licenses, per default this is the "Creative Commons Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Austria" license.
Mission
We want to serve learners in a way that is appropriate for today's living and working environments. We are aware that introducing a new medium does not change the productivity of education ... unless one changes the way the participating people organize themselves. Thus we want to be a prototype of a truly 21st century learning organization.
